Mr Khan is a dedicated plastic surgeon with diverse experience in plastic and cosmetic procedures. His special clinical interests include cosmetic surgery, hand surgery, trauma, plastic and reconstructive surgery – helping people to improve their appearance, mental health and quality of life.

Background of Irfan Khan
Mr Irfan Khan qualified from King Edward Medical College, Pakistan, in 1986. He has more than twenty one years experience of working in plastic surgery in the UK, the last nine years as a consultant. He is an NHS consultant in hand and plastic surgery and appears on the specialist register of the General Medical Council. He also holds the specialist FRCS (plastic surgery) qualification.
During his training Mr Khan has completed fellowships in aesthetic, microsurgery and hand surgery. He trained in some of the best units in the UK including Billericay, Chelmsford, Leeds, Glasgow, Preston and Liverpool. He did his aesthetic fellowship in the North West and has completed numerous courses, attended meetings and seen senior surgeons operate to further enhance his experience. He has had a busy private practice since 2008.
Mr Khan takes a keen interest in training junior plastic surgeons and is currently training programme director in the Mersey area.

Mr Khan is dedicated to being up to date with the latest innovation and developments in all areas of plastics. This means he travels regularly to seminars and training conferences to ensure he has the latest knowledge and experience to benefit his patients.
Recent training experiences include a dedicated Rhinoplasty course in Stuttgart, known as one of the best in the world. The course incorporates live surgery and cadaveric discussion and is lead by the renowned Professor Wolfgang Gubisch and Dr Sebastian Hack.
